This is the wall road as you come off the Blackwood end of the Sirhowy Enterprise Way Bridge via a roundabout.
Safety is paramount.
I did warn the council when the SEW was to be built that there would be an increase of 75 per cent of traffic up Foundry Hill onto Sunnybank Road, and we now have HGVs using the route on a regular basis as a cross-valley link, and I was told most of the traffic would go up from Libanus lights via Highfield Way.
This has not happened.
The council say there are no immediate concerns with the structure, and I shall be monitoring the situation very closely and requesting regular reports.
Work was supposed to be undertaken in 2024, but has not taken place, so I have asked why.
