Two manufacturers have been named as finalists in multiple categories at the Made in Wales Awards 2026.

Peter Jones, known for its professional carrying solutions, is shortlisted for Product Innovation of the Year and Export Award, while its sister company JC Moulding is a finalist in three categories: Manufacturer of the Year (Under £25m Turnover), Investment Project of the Year, and Engineering Manufacturer of the Year.

Christopher Davidge, managing director of Peter Jones, said: "This recognition is a fantastic achievement for Peter Jones.

"We've had an extremely busy year with the launch of our new Klick Fast LT range, alongside attending trade shows across the UK, Europe, and the US to build our profile and increase awareness of our products overseas.

"We look forward to the awards night and wish all fellow competitors the very best of luck."

Peter Jones has continued to expand its reach in safety-critical industries, with the Klick Fast LT range opening doors to new markets and opportunities.

JC Moulding’s nominations reflect the company’s investment in manufacturing excellence and growth.

Phil Marshall, director of JC Moulding, said: "We have placed a lot of time and investment into upgrading our machinery to strengthen production capacity, reduce downtime risk, and increase our ability to respond quickly to changing customer demands.

"These investments also help us deliver greater efficiencies and value to our customers."

The Made in Wales Awards are now in their 16th year and honour manufacturers across the country for achievements in innovation, investment, and operational excellence.

Winners will be announced at a gala ceremony on October 1 at Cardiff’s Coal Exchange.

Both Peter Jones and JC Moulding have said they are proud to be recognised alongside other industry leaders and look forward to celebrating Welsh manufacturing at the event.
