Police have been carrying out evening patrols in Chepstow to address anti-social behaviour and improve community safety on Saturday, September, 5.
Officers from the Monmouthshire Neighbourhood Team have been patrolling the town to engage with residents, listen to concerns, and provide a visible policing presence.
A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: "officers from Monmouthshire Neighbourhood Team have been out and about on patrol in Chepstow Town, focusing on concerns around anti-social behaviour (ASB) and helping to keep our communities safe.
"Our patrols are not just about tackling issues — they’re also a great opportunity to speak with local residents, listen to your concerns and understand what matters most to the community.
"If you see us out and about, come and say hello! We’re always happy to have a chat.
"We’ll continue to provide a visible policing presence and take action where necessary to address ASB and other community concerns.
"Working together to keep Chepstow a safe and welcoming place for everyone".
Gwent Police confirmed that officers will continue to provide a visible policing presence, and will continue to address any concerns residents have regarding anti-social behaviour.
Members of the public are being encouraged to chat to officers while they are on patrol.
