Drivers faced delays on the M4 due to poor weather on Tuesday, September 8.
The worst congestion was on the westbound carriageway at junction 23A, where drivers experienced delays of up to 16 minutes.
Eastbound, there were delays of 13 minutes between junctions 25 and 23, with further hold-ups of five minutes between junctions 28 and 25A, and three minutes between junctions 30 and 28.
A spokesperson for Traffic Wales South said: "Poor weather conditions this morning.
"If you’re travelling, please take extra care, allow additional time for your journey and adjust your speed to suit the conditions."
The delays are being attributed to wet weather, which is affecting driving conditions across the region.
Traffic Wales has advised all motorists to drive with caution, reduce their speed, and allow extra time for their journeys.
