An abandoned vehicle, which appears to be a silver Vauxhall Corsa, has been recovered by police in Pantside.
Officers from Caerphilly Central Neighbourhood Policing Team attended after concerns were raised about the vehicle.
Gwent Police said officers carried out the necessary checks before arrangements were made for it to be removed from the area.
In a social media post, the force said: “A vehicle reported as abandoned in #Pantside has now been recovered by Police.”

Police added: “Officers from #CaerphillyCentralNPT attended following concerns regarding the vehicle and, after making the necessary checks, arrangements were made for it to be removed.”
The force described the recovery as “another example of proactive policing and partnership working to help keep our local communities safe and tidy”.
Residents are being encouraged to report any vehicle which appears to have been abandoned or left suspiciously so it can be assessed by officers.
Police said reports allow officers to carry out checks and determine whether any further action is required.
