McDonald's has confirmed it will be bringing back an iconic discontinued menu item after a decade. The fast-food chain will be re-adding the Snack Wrap to its menu – and there’s not long to wait until its officially back.

Previously a staple of the Saver Menu, the Snack Wrap first launched in 2006 and consisted of a tortilla wrap filled with a Chicken Select, lettuce, cheese and cool mayo.

After being discontinued in 2016, the new Snack Wrap is set to be a bit different from the original, as it will no longer contain cheese and also contain a black pepper mayo.

Fans won’t have long to wait until they can buy a new Snack Wrap, as it will be available in McDonald’s stores from 11am on Tuesday, October 6. Priced at £1.99, the wrap will once again be part of the Saver Menu.

Snack Wraps will also be available as both a main and a bonus side in the chain’s Meal Deal Plus promotion. The deal includes a main, medium fries, a bonus side and a medium drink for £5.95.

The Snack Wrap isn’t the first discontinued menu item to make a return. In October 2024, the McRib made a limited return to the menu after a ten-year absence.

McDonald's is also currently running its World Menu Heist promotion, which includes thirteen items from across the globe. Available until October 19, the promotion includes Mac and Cheese Triangles from the UAE, the Big Rösti from Germany and the S’mores McFlurry from Canada.
