If you’re keen to become the next Roald Dahl or JK Rowling then Abergavenny is the place to be.
The Hill Education and Conference Centre is running a course in children’s story writing, designed to inspire budding writers.
Running from Friday, December 5, to Sunday, December 7, the course will be tutored by author Heather Dyer and aims to enhance writing techniques such as developing character, plot and style.
Students will also be taught how to write for a specialised market and how to get work published.
The course is available on both a residential and non-residential basis.
The residential rate includes tuition, three star accommodation and all meals and the non-residential rate includes tuition and all meals except breakfast.
