EXCITED children boarded a steam train to visit Father Christmas in Blaenavon at the weekend.
Children and their parents travelled along the Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway line to the Whistle Inn where they met Father Christmas and received an early Christmas present.
Parents enjoyed mince pies and sherry by the log fire.
The Santa Special trips have been running since the first weekend in December and hundreds of people have made the trip over the past four weeks.
The last trips take place tomorrow.
