THE thought of entertaining the kids in the summer holidays can be daunting. The thought of entertaining them on a car journey can be even worse! With an increasing number of cars now featuring DVD players, Early Years Entertainment Ltd (EYE) has the perfect travel companion to soothe the cries of "are we nearly there yet?"
Penny's Birthday Party, part of the Wigglebottom Farm series from EYE, is the world's first ever full interactive DVD storybook for little ones aged three to six years and will help keep them entertained on long car journeys!
The storybook series is based on the lives of friendly, fun loving, farm animals and is designed to engage and delight little ones across the country. The six fully interactive games in each hour-long story encourage learning but still provide endless fun! A friendly, female narrator takes children through scene featuring characters such as the eccentric Harper Frog, the cheeky Jack Fox and the wise Bernard Owl.
Using new DVD Extra technology, all the titles have three modes of play, Fully Interact - where the full story and the interactive tasks can be experienced, Play - which takes children straight to the games, and Watch - where the child sits back and watches the story unfold.
A special launch promotion will also include a free audio CD storybook plus a fun packed activity booklet so children can colour in the characters themselves.
