Advanced FSI petrol engine technology extends the list of Audi A8 attributes from this week as a new, directly injected 3.2-litre V6 FSI unit joins the luxury saloon range. The first car in the class to feature this efficiency and economy-boosting injection system becomes the UK's most powerful six-cylinder petrol premium sector flagship. The new A8 3.2 FSI is now available costing from £47,930 OTR and will be delivered to UK customers from July.
The new 3.2-litre V6, seen first in the A6 executive saloon, replaces the 3.0-litre V6 petrol unit available since launch. It increases power from 220PS in the outgoing model to 260PS in this new version, which is also distinguishable by the single frame front grille that recently filtered down through the range from flagship 6.0 quattro versions. The new A8 3.2 FSI will be available to UK customers from July.
