BRIDGEND'S Funeral For A Friend get their feet back on ground far from the high-wire of big halls and festivals with a tour of mini-venues.
Find them tonight in Blackwood Miners' Institute or in The Rec, Bridgend on Saturday, April 23.
Both gigs feature Hondo McLean and When Reason Sleeps in support. Funeral For A Friend were the band that was wisked from bedsit obscurity to international acclaim before they played a gig.
Their support slots beneath Iron Maiden in places like Cardiff International Arena were counted amongst their first few dozen gigs!
Records like Escape Artists Never Die sold well worldwide and this spring and summer the band's new single Streetcar and album Hours look set to do the same.
On the August Bank Holiday Funeral For A Friend will join Iron Maiden again plus Marilyn Manson, Incubus, Iggy and The Stooges and NOFX at the Leeds and Reading Festivals.
Find them in that order on Friday, August 26 and Sunday, August 28. In July the band heads out on a major headline tour which includes a date in Cardiff uni union on Sunday, July 10.
The support bands for that tour are fellow Welsh metallers Bullet For My Valentine plus Static Lullaby and Gratitude.
