A Newport woman arrested in connection with the robbery was released on police bail in the early hours of today.
She had been helping detectives with their inquiries. The woman in her twenties was arrested at an address in Hillview Crescent in the Pontfaen area of the city on Wednesday evening. She was detained at Newport Central police station on suspicion of handling stolen goods. The house was cordoned off as forensic officers searched for evidence.
