Monmouthshire County Council are just one of many organisations that will be recruiting at Job Scene The Roadshow presented by the South Wales Argus after the popular event returns to the Newport Centre on 17 March 2005.

The event was a great success for the Council when they exhibited at the Roadshow earlier this year and they are looking forward to repeating the experience.

Not only will they be using the Roadshow as a place to recruit but also as an invaluable public relations exercise as Gemma Evans, personnel administration officer of Monmouthshire County Council explains:

"We will be at the Roadshow to promote the services of Monmouthshire County Council to a diverse range of people. We will be bringing a list of Monmouthshire vacancies which are wide and varied and will appeal to a wide selection of the community."

Other exhibitors that have already confirmed their attendance include British Gas, Coleg Gwent, Environment Agency Wales, IR Newport, Jobcentre Plus, Legal and General, Newport City Council, Office for National Statistics, Select Appointments and many more.

TJW Exhibitions, who organise the event, work in partnership with the South Wales Argus, Careers Wales and Jobcentre Plus to bring an event dedicated to helping employers and training providers meet the kind of people they are looking to meet in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

Representatives from these organisations meet on a regular basis to ensure that the event is meeting the needs of exhibitors and visitors alike and feedback and ideas are always welcome.

Spokesperson for organiser TJW Exhibitions said: "The Roadshow was a great event when it first came to Newport earlier this year. Well over 2,000 visitors came through the doors and provided a one stop location to unite employers with interested and dedicated members of the community. We look forward to repeating the success again next year." For further information about exhibiting at the Roadshow, contact Adam Hiscock at TJW Exhibitions on 01823 250930.
