DAREDEVILS abseiled 190 feet off the edge of Newport's famous transporter bridge to raise more than £3,000 for the British Red Cross.
Organiser Anna Fox said despite rain and light winds,the event was a great success.
"I would like to thank everyone who took part," she said.
The youngest participant was 10-year-old Sebastian Hyden, of Pentrepoeth Road, Bassaleg.
He was joined by the eldest, 93-year-old Olga Pope, of Baneswell.
