In the last financial year we saw the implementation of Ringmaster. This is an automatic cascading telephone messaging system which broadcasts crime prevention advice and crime pattern advice to Neighbourhood Watch partners.
There are currently 379 Neighbourhood Watch Groups and approximately 38,500 homes benefiting from the scheme.
Nominated Neighbour Scheme
We have also introduced a Nominated Neighbour Scheme, designed to support those elderly and vulnerable members of society. Information packs are available by contacting the Community Safety Department at Police Headquarters on 01633 838111.
