DUNLOP is launching a search for the best 'would be' racing stars in Wales! Up against six other regional finalists, the national winner of the Dunlop Race Academy will be trained to race standard on the track - and will also get to live the life of a top Formula 1 racing driver for one weekend only! The Welsh Dunlop racing star will battle through heats and finals before getting a once in a lifetime opportunity to race in the Dunlop Driver's Cup at Brand's Hatch.

This will be a unique chance to drive in a national championship race in a Dunlop customised Ginetta G20 sports racing car, against experienced and cut-throat rivals. Following this they will pick up a club class flight to Monaco, home of the mega rich and famous, for a two-night stay in the Columbus Hotel (owned by McLaren Formula 1 driver David Coulthard).

It will be luxury all the way with helicopter transfers, bespoke tailored suits, Louis Vuitton travel bags, a new Breitling watch and many more celebrity trappings. Dunlop's brand manager, Geraldine McGovern, said: "It's a great opportunity for racing enthusiasts to get a look at the real life of a racing driver. They'll have to be hot on and off the track, in the spotlight of the press, as well as amongst experienced racers.

Who knows, maybe the winner will go on to become a racing legend in his or her own right?" The Dunlop Race Academy will commence in the summer when the seven regional finalists will be put through their paces at one of the UK's most famous racing schools, the Gold Track Driving Club.

Following in the footsteps of British race idols like Jenson Button, Damon Hill, Nigel Mansell, James Hunt and Jackie Stewart, judges will be looking for confidence and style as well as talent on the track. Who knows - it could be a first step to stardom? For a chance to make it into the Race Academy this summer visit www.dunloptyres.co.uk and apply online.
