AS the Dragons go in search of their first competitive away win tonight, writes Nabil Hassan, coach Mike Ruddock has issued a warning to his side: 'We must stop Neil Jenkins.'

And his warning was backed up by club captain Andy Marinos who admitted that self-discipline is crucial if the Dragons are to claim that elusive first away victory in tonight's Celtic League game against the Celtic Warriors at Sardis Road.

Jenkins has looked past his best in recent weeks but Ruddock and Marinos are under no illusions that the 'Ginger Monster' is still a threat.

"Obviously with Neil Jenkins at outside-half our discipline has got to be spot-on," admitted Ruddock.

"The rear foot discipline in the ruck situation has been something we've worked on so that we are not off-side to give him an easy three points.

"And we don't want to give him an opportunity to build up an easy lead with the boot. But we can't give the referee any opportunity to penalise us because the crowd will be on his back shouting for off-side and we've got to be aware of that.

"We need to get on the front foot to nullify the likes of Neil Jenkins and control the play. We want to score tries, play some exciting rugby and build on the work we have done in the last few games.

And Marinos added: "It will be a physical game, they are a good side and have a lot of pace and a strong pack. I just hope it doesn't degenerate into a typical Welsh derby and is a good game to watch.

"Any ill-discipline in our half will be punished by Neil Jenkins. So we've got to put pressure on him and ensure that he can't dictate the game with his boot."

And if the Dragons can stop Wales' record international points scorer then Marinos reckons that the Dragon's first away win could come tonight.

"In all fairness our first three away games were against Llanelli twice and Ulster and we didn't play well and were just settling as a side.

"But the more we play together, the greater the self-belief and the better we become. We're getting better all the time."

Ruddock has named an unchanged team for tonight's Celtic Warriors clash.
