WALES have got to end their losing sequence when they take on a second string England side at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday, says Mark Taylor the Llanelli and former Pontypool centre.

It will be his fifth appearance against England, and Taylor believes it is a real opportunity for Wales, though he is respectful of the major strength in depth enjoyed by the English camp.

"We will do them a massive disservice if we look at them as being a second team. If we do that they will probably catch us cold," said Taylor at a Press conference at the team's Vale of Glamorgan headquarters this morning.

"The big thing is England have got tremendous strength in depth, and looking at their club and international form they are very buoyant.

"But we are looking to build confidence for the World Cup and it will be nice to get a win under our belts.

"It's important we get a result somewhere along the line. We've got to break that sequence (Wales have lost their last ten matches) and get a win.

"It's a chance for us; we've got an experienced side and they've got some new caps.

"But we won't underestimate them. The match will be won and lost up front and they've got an experienced pack.

"Against the top sides in the world recently we have played our best rugby, but we let ourselves down against Italy and Scotland.

"We just need to start winning again. We've got them in Cardiff with their second string side, so it's our best chance."

Taylor will take his place in the centre in a Wales team expected to show 14 changes from the starting lineup against Ireland when it is announced later today.

Only experienced winger Gareth Thomas is expected to remain, though prop Gethin Jenkins, who went on as a second half replacement in Dublin, is expected to start.
