GWENT's premier business golf event tees off on Friday with popular comedian Owen Money (pictured) taking part and performing at the awards evening.

Gwent Business Golf Championship 2002, sponsored by the Business Argus, takes place at the world-famous Old Course at St Pierre, Chepstow.

There is still time for teams to enter the 18-hole Stableford event with full handicap. Over 20 teams will be competing.

Great prizes are there for the taking, including the perpetual trophy currently held by Davlan Construction.

It's a super day out at one of the country's top championship courses, and a great opportunity for networking.

Teams should arrive 30 minutes before tee time to collect a timetable for the day and a welcome pack.

Teeing off from the first and 10th will be from 12.30pm to 2.30pm. Pre-dinner meeting at 7.30pm in the bar next to the St Pierre Suite for a three-course dinner and prize presentation.
