LONDON-based four-piece Serafin play Barfly, Cardiff next week in support of their debut EP, Day By Day, and one of the most miserable bands on the planet, Halo.

The slick pop-rock band of commercially minded weasels is in South Wales on Monday May 20. Their EP was released on Monday April 22 on Taste Media.

The band is comprised of Ben Fox-Smith (vocals, guitar), plus Darryn Harkness (guitar), Benjamin Ellis (bass) and Ronnie Growler (drums).

Serafin have already played shows with the likes of Muse and JJ72, and are building themselves a feisty live reputation.

After their performance at March's South By Southwest Music Conference in Austin, Texas, the band were snapped up quick-smart for a major North American deal with Elektra.

A second EP in the UK is due for release in July with American releases to follow. Headline act in Cardiff next week is Halo. First on the bill is Midasuno.
