THERE is only one place any fan of live dance music and deft deck work should be next Thursday night - Clwb Ifor Bach, Cardiff for sets from Bench, Optimus Prime and Dynamo Dresden.
All three are South Wales-based dance outfits of three different varieties. Bench (pictured) mix dance and hip hop beats with an indie jangle and have been drawing crowds in Cardiff and South Wales for two years.
Optimus Prime are an acclaimed hip hop DJ collective. Four turntablists no less, mix a frantic beat for the discerning fan of live dance music. Dynamo Dreden are what Kosheen could be if they dropped the chart aimed cheese back off at the farm.
With a female vocalist with a voice to die for set to powerful beats, Dynamo Dresden are the best on the bill but the first of the night.
