CROSS Keys assistant coach Steve Hill is hoping his side get the rub of the green away at Bedwas tomorrow night.

Keys are locked in the midst of a relegation battle and with just six games left Hill says his team need at least two wins to secure their place in Division One.

"Confidence is a bit low to be honest. The boys have been playing the game plan and it has worked well, but they have failed with the final phase of play.

"They need to look at the bigger picture and spot the over laps," Hill warned. Friday's plum derby match sees two brothers reunited, but on opposite side's as Hill explained to the Argus.

"Bedwas winger Matthew Pizey scored two tries against us last time. His brother James is our full back.

"I'm hoping James will be back from injury in time. He still has a nasty bruise from the Pontypool game, but he's a important player for us," admitted the Keys coach. Keys have witnessed a dramatic fall from grace in recent years. From the highs of life in Welsh rugby's Premiership to the depths of this season's relegation dog fight Keys are determined to hold onto their Division One status at all costs.

"It would by terrible if this club is relegated. The players are capable of playing First Division rugby, but the luck of the bounce has been against us all season. Effort wise we don't deserve to be here.

"Every match is a cup game, but at the moment the players are getting frustrated and panicking with the ball. We have the overlaps but are not using them," Hill revealed. Bedwas winger Pizey has been highlighted as one of the games major dangermen for Keys as Hill explained.

"We will be looking to keep him quiet because he is likely to cause us problems. "I'm confident in our set pieces, but we can't afford to kick the ball when we don't need to. With aq bit of luck hopefully we can get the right result," Hill said.

Keys will select their team from the following squad: I Evans, G Stroud, D Grimmings, J Rogers, V Paulo, L Gardner, C Penny, T Vita, C Evans, D Gibbs, D Stably, A Gibbs, P Watkins, N Hope, A Boyd, G Worgan, R Davies, D Price, M Lovell, S Marshall, J Pizey, N McLane, C Bushall.
