DYNAMIC box and fiddle duo Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham will be at the Borough Theatre, Abergavenny on March 18.

This is a special tour that celebrates their 20th year of playing together. This partnership was recognised last year in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards where they won Best Duo.

With their extraordinary skills, they have taken their respective instruments, fiddle and accordion, to new heights, have both been honoured with the MBE and have several honorary doctorates between them for their contribution to Scottish music.

Their performances are a mix of high energy, technically breathtaking reels and jigs, heartbreaking slow airs and tunes from around the world, and hilarious between set humour.

Be prepared for an emotional rollercoaster ride.

Also appearing live at the Borough Theatre is Billy Mitchell, ex-Lindisfarne and Jack the Lad front man will return to the Borough Theatre where he presents a feast of music, memories and humour on Thursday, March 23, at 8pm. Billy last performed at the Borough with Lindisfarne in 2003 and appears on Lindisfarne albums Here Comes the Neighbourhood and Promenade produced during the late nineties and early noughties that were extremely well received by fans and critics alike.
