A WOMAN was cut out of a car after a road accident in Pontnewynydd, Pontypool, tonight.
The woman was released by firefighters using hydraulic cutting equipment after a collision between two cars on the A4043 St Luke’s Road shortly after 6.20pm.
Another person was already released from the car before firefighters got there.
Two people were taken to Nevill Hall Hospital but their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
