NON-URGENT ambulance services are suffering because of the bad weather.
The Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust said they were having problems maintaining normal services for routine patient transport in South East Wales.
As a result of the weather, a number of hospitals have cancelled clinic services and patients will not be required to attend and therefore not need transport.
The Ambulance Trust asks that patients contact their hospital to see if their appointment will still be available before them to see if your transport is on its way.
Alternateively if patients do not wish to travel, they can contact the Ambulance Service direct or your local Health Board.
People are reminded to only contact 999 if absolutely necessary and only in the event of a life-threatening emergency.
