ENGLAND eased past Australia at the Swalec Stadium this evening to go 2-0 up in the five-match Natwest Series.

Andrew Strauss' side limited the Aussies to a modest 239-7 and then chased it down with four wickets and 28 balls to spare.

Stuart Broad (4-44) led the way with the ball before Strauss (51), Paul Collingwood (48) and Eoin Morgan (52) starred with the bat in a crushing victory.
