A NEWPORT schoolboy was taken to hospital after being involved in a collision with a car.
Police were called to the incident on Risca Road at around 4.20pm on Friday.
The 11-year-old was taken to hospital as a precaution but his injuries were not life threatening, police said yesterday.
No arrests were made.
