Work to remove 1980s extensions from the 400-year-old Little Bulmore Farmhouse on the edge of the Celtic Manor’s 2010 Ryder Cup golf course is now complete.
Plans to demolish the house and rebuild it elsewhere in the grounds sparked a row between the hotel's owner Sir Terry Matthews, who threatened to pull out of investments in Newport, after the council's planning committee refused the application.
