I have waited for years to have the opportunity to tell the world about things that irritate me and was thrilled when the Argus offered to host my blog.
The only downside is that I have had to promise that I will not post messages that are "unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented or racially offensive."
That's going to cramp my style a bit!
However I am hoping that at least some of the things that annoy me will strike a chord with others and together we can strike a blow against all those infuriating people and systems that conspire to make my life a misery.
Let's make a start with RINGTONES on other people's mobile phones.
Why on earth do people think that I will find their latest, "humourous" ringtones in the least bit amusing instead of just getting on my nerves?
Have these people not read the manual? Do they not realize that it is possible to turn the volume down?
Or better still, off.
Or, even better, drowned in a bucket of water.
So please join me in my campaign to abolish loud, annoying ringtones.
