POLICE have arrested two men in connection with a serious sexual assault in Risca.
The men from Abercarn, aged 22 and 23, were arrested after a girl of 15 was attacked in a lane off Commerical Street at midnight on Monday. It is believed she was raped as well as seriously sexually assaulted.
Anyone who has any information or who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time is asked to call Gwent Police on 01633 838111 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
