Totally gutted!!

I received the lowest score!

If you look at the bottom of all the "reader blogs" on the Argus you'll see a voting button which generates a score out of 10.

Mine is roughly 2.3 out of 10 and all the other reader blogs get at least 9 out of 10.

The only blog on the Argus site with a lower score than mine is the one and only staff blog. I reckon all the reader bloggers have been voting for their own blogs. Big hairy cheats!! Looks like I'd better "supe" this blog up with some fascinating stories on my journey to work in Cardiff, counting the squished seagulls on the A48(M) sliproads, or some other story about my life.

I don't know why but I've never personally liked those blogs that are literally diaries of peoples' lives.

I'd rather it be more of a mystery. Perhaps I'm more of a follower not a leader.

I like to point people in the direction of things they may be interested in.

I don't want to force my opinions on other people or expect them to be interested in my little life because, in the words of the great, late George Harrison "..and the time will come when you'll see we're all very small and life flows on within you and without you."

Suddenly, this has gone a bit "deep".

I've lost the track now. My point is that I'm going to carry on with this blog as I have done with my older blogs - pointing people in the direction of interesting things.

For example, there is a blog that I'd like to tell you about. It's called....

www.damn interesting.com Long accounts of strange happenings are the order of the day.

I don't know where the guy gets all his stories from. Have a look. Most recent stories featured are ......The Tragic Birth of FM Radio, Seizure Dogs, The Ruins of Fordlandia, The Extraordinary Dymaxion Automobile and Nature's Nuclear Reactors. I won't include an excerpt.

If you want to read these stories then type www.damninteresting.com into your address bar and press "Enter"!

I'm only providing one link today because if I gave the addresses of loads of mad blogs and sites you'd never leave the house again and you'd burn your toast and turn into a nerd. Alas, nothing tomorrow as I will be too busy to blog as I'm taking my son to see Thomas and Friends.

(Formerly known as Thomas the Tank Engine.) Hey, I have to include details of my personal life sometimes you know!! I have got a life!! Some people! Pffft!!
