A SINGLE recorded by a Gwent choir that will raise cash for a charity that helps blind ex-serviceman is now available to buy.
CDs of Brave One, written by Roger Simmonds of Fleur-de-Lys near Blackwood and performed by Risca Male Choir, are now available direct from the choir and the song writer.
Proceeds from the sales will go to St Dunstan’s, which provides training and rehabilitation to blind ex-service men and women.
Each disc, priced at £2.50 plus 50p for postage and packaging, will come with three tracks - including Roger Simmonds’ Soldiers of Freedom and Ynysowen Male Choir’s This is My Wales, featuring Andy Davies.
Digital downloads of the single will be available from August 1 on Amazon MP3, Tesco Digital and iTunes, for around £2 each.
Mr Simmonds said negotiations are currently underway to see if the Risca choir can perform at the opening of St Dunstan’s new centre in Llandudno.
