THE Tony award-winning and hugely successful hit musical Avenue Q returns to Cardiff for one week only at the New Theatre from Tuesday February 21 to Saturday, February 25.

Said to be hilarious and uproariously entertaining with songs performed by a cast of talented actors with puppets, Avenue Q enjoyed enormous success both on Broadway and in London.

Hailed as witty, rude and extremely funny, it tackles subjects such as dating, racism and being gay.

The musical is about the lovably hopeless characters on a downtown New York street trying to make sense of life’s burning issues of love, work, relationships and, above all, just how are you supposed to pay the bills with a BA in English?

Princeton is a bright-eyed college graduate new to the area, desperate to follow his dreams.

A tiny bank balance, the distraction of a busty blonde and a variety of weird and wonderful friends and neighbours lead him on a journey of self-discovery.
