There was a wonderful atmosphere in the Rodney Parade club house following the win over Cardiff and this was rounded off with the tremendous reception that Sam Waldron received when presented with the POTM award for January.
Sam has been a hugely popular player for Newport for many years and quite rightly was voted for this award by the supporters following outstanding displays at both Cardiff and Tonmawr during January.
