BOOK lovers in Monmouthshire can now read up to 2,500 books online.
As part of the eBooks for Wales pilot project, Monmouthshire libraries now offer access to more than 2,500 e-books, and readers can borrow up to four books at a time.
The new free service will enable people to borrow or reserve a book for three weeks, after which it will be automatically deleted.
Ebooks are compatible with e-book readers, tablets and smart phones with the relevant apps, but not yet available on Kindle ebook readers.
Any library members with a PIN can use the service, and those who are not members can sign up at their local library. The scheme offers a mix of fiction, biographies, real-life stories, children’s books and non-fiction titles.
To begin using the new ebooks service, or to find out more, please visit the Monmouthshire libraries website libraries.monmouthshire.gov.uk or visit your local library.
