A 12-YEAR-OLD boy was charged in connection with a vandalism attack on a Newport church.
Three windows were broken at Newport City Church, on the top floor of the Cambrian Centre, over the Christmas period.
Pastor Robbie Howells told the Argus at the time that the damage caused to the three windows was in excess of £3,000.
Gwent Police said yesterday that a 12-year-old Newport boy has been charged with two counts of criminal damage and will appear at Cwmbran Youth Court on March 6.
The incident is believed to have happened between 9pm on December 24 and 7.30am on December 28.
Officers are still appealing for information relating to the damage and ask anyone who can help to call 101.
