THREE men have been charged with assault following an incident on Winstone Road, in Trevethin, just after midnight on March 6.
A 21-year-old from Pontypool was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport with swelling, bruises and cuts, but has since been released.
Two men, aged 18 and 19, from Pontypool, and a 20- year-old man from Cwmbran were arrested and charged with assault. They will appear at Cwmbran Magistrates Court on March 22.
