THE two Wales Air Ambulance helicopters grounded yesterday amid safety concerns, were allowed to fly again this morning.
The decision to resume flying its complete service was made late last night, and they resumed normal service from 7am.
Two of the service's EC135 helicopters were grounded after a small crack was found on a lower rotor blade in a EC135 helicopter in Scotland in February.
A third helicopter – which is a different model and not subject to investgation – remained in use.
