After this year’s Olympic Games, there are going to be thousands of youngsters excited to emulate their idols.
The problem being, will the Lottery have enough money to fund local clubs and associations?
The London government’s kitty is bare and unable to help already stretched local councils to keep its sports and amenities department running.
We judge the success of the games by how many champions are produced by the next two games.
