A SUMMER parade filled the streets of Bettws with colour at the weekend.
People of all ages took part, carrying flags and playing musical instruments as they marched from Millbrook Primary School at 1pm on Saturday.
When the parade was over at Newport High School, the fun was not, as the dozens of people enjoyed a falconry display, stalls and demonstrations from local groups.
The event was organised by Bettws Communities First and supported by others including Newport City Homes and Gwent Police.
