MASKED raiders stole a car, broke into a shop and tried to steal a cash machine from a shop in Usk.
Gwent Police say a blue Skoda Octavia, registration number CE06 WCX was stolen from an address at Martin Close, Rogiet between 11.30pm on September 13 and 3.30am on September 14.
This car was then used by four people wearing masks who broke into the One Stop in Usk at 4am and tried to stake teal the ATM machine, which is emptied each evening, before leaving the scene in the same vehicle. The vehicle was later found in the Caldicot area.
Police are appealing for anyone who knows anything about the incident, who saw the vehicle at any stage or has found any discarded clothing in the Caldicot area particularly a red hooded jacket, a ski mask, a bright yellow scarf and any other dark clothing to contact police on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
