BLAENAVON residents are being given the chance to get involved and help to improve the future of the town centre.
A meeting, hosted by new town centre manager Richard Morgan, will take place at 6pm on October 2 in the recently refurbished Market Tavern, Broad Street, Blaenavon.
Mr Morgan said: “The idea is simple, we want you to give us your ideas on howthe town might be improved, and we will try and find ways to help achieve them.
“I’m hoping to form a Blaenavon Town Team so I’m looking for a group of proactive volunteers – made up of local residents, shoppers, landlords, businesses, traders, schools – who have a keen interest in the town of Blaenavon and would like to make a difference.”
Everyone is welcome, whether you can spare an hour, an afternoon, a day or longer.
