Cwmbran-based accountancy firm Green & Co Accountants and Tax Advisors is celebrating the10-year anniversary of one of its partners leading the business.

Ed Gooderham, who qualified as a chartered accountant in 2002, has steered Green & Co, alongside business partner Nick Park, to double the size of the firm over the past ten years.

Mr Gooderham said: “I can’t believe how fast the last 10 have gone. The business was formed in 1993, and I came on board 13 years later. Since then, we’ve bought and developed Pembroke House, Llantarnam Park, into high-quality office accommodation, and our staff numbers have almost doubled, from 16 to 30. Over the past two years we’ve increased our business, with Green & Co Farms, our agricultural division, being a key area of high growth for us.”

Mr Gooderham said: “We have plans to grow in the areas of our new services such as probate, prosperity (business planning and growth service), as well as increasing our business in the health sector.

"We focus a huge amount on customer service and helping our clients with their business goals, not just numbers and compliance. We put on regular seminars on accounting software and auto-enrolment; it’s all about making things easier for clients, HMRC can make things difficult enough at times.”

Green & Co Accountants and Tax Advisors specialise in business growth and tax minimisation for businesses across Wales and the South West of England.
