The Tiny Rebel Brewery in Rogerstone, Newport will be opening its doors early on Wednesday mornings after it has been chosen as the preferred venue to host weekly breakfast networking meetings for the Dragons of Newport Business Networking Group.

“We have enjoyed meeting in another Newport facility for the past couple of years but at the end of 2018, it was time to find a new venue for 2019,” said Jonathan Davies, director of Foxwood Recruitment and Dragons member. “The team at the Tiny Rebel have been very accommodating and worked with us to provide a breakfast menu and seating area that works for us.”

Mark Baker, area manager for the Tiny Rebel is very pleased to welcome the Dragons to the Rogerstone brewery.

He said: “We already knew a few of the Dragons as they have previously hosted events here so when they asked about moving here for their weekly meetings we were keen to work with them and join in with their networking group. We are also going to be offering similar services for other business groups in the area.”

The Dragons are a not-for-profit organisation and run and operated by and for its members to utilise their collective knowledge, skills, expertise and business contacts for the benefit of other members.

Established in 2011, the Dragons has grown in size and currently has 25 members attending their weekly breakfast meetings and more than 100 local businesses registering for their quarterly free ‘Big Breakfasts’.

In the last financial year more than £550,000 was generated in invoiced work as well as many thousands more in numerous new business opportunities created by visitors at their ‘Big Breakfast’ events.
