Monmouthshire-based vehicle recovery, maintenance and recovery truck distribution business Caldicot Group, has announced that is has successfully been awarded several new lucrative contracts as part of plans to grow the businesses.

The new wins have helped doubled the firms turnover from £3m in 2018 to £6m this year.

The new business includes projects for Newport-based Forest Traffic Services LTD, Blackwell-based HW Martin and Reading-based, Chevron Traffic Management.

Gavin Edwards, managing director, Caldicot Group said: “Our strategy is to continue to grow in all sectors of our business, specifically targeting recovery truck sales and breakdown recovery contracts.

"These major contract wins will significantly contribute to reaching our target of a £7m turnover in 2020. We are successfully maintaining and growing contracts not just in Wales but across the UK.”

Recently appointed group national sales manager Lyndon Welsher said: “I am recently pleased to see such fantastic results so early into my role with Caldicot group.
