Who are you and what do you do?

How did your business idea come about?

This idea has been in the making for some time. And thus far the project has taken around 18 months to get to a point where we are ready to open. We want to offer a gym and wellbeing facility that is cheap and accessible to all walks of life. A community, run for the community, by the community. Jobs and training for the local people. With the added hope of bringing some life to the High Street.

What was it like starting a business during a global pandemic?

It has been the toughest of times. We have not been able to gain any grants or financial support so far meaning the charity is self funded. We have even faced challenges opening a bank account. It's taken around four months to open.
