A NEWPORT school will stay closed today after a blaze earlier this morning.
More than 20 firefighters from across South East Wales tackled the fire which broke out in the dining area of Rougemont School on Malpas Road just after midnight.
Police and fire investigators are inspecting the site this morning and police say it is too early to say if the cause of the fire is suspicious.
There are no reports of injuries.
