RECENTLY the Westminster Government announced that council tax in England would be frozen for a further two years.
That means that with no similar commitment from the Welsh Assembly as regards Wales, Blaenau Gwent Council tax payers, who are already paying more than the average council tax payer in England, will be heading for the highest charges in England and Wales in the next few years.
Now for anyone who recently saw BBC News: The Editors Report on the sorry state in Blaenau Gwent, this can only be seen as a sick state of affairs. How can a Labour controlled Assembly allow its people to suffer in this way – and have so little to say on the matter?
