I HAVE just stumbled across MP Paul Flynn’s web site and if I did not live in the area I would be unaware that he was actually a representative of Newport. His webThe site is littered with vague ramblings, stop the war campaigns and international politics, but only a couple of mentions for the city that he is paid to represent. I have heard him speak up a couple of times at the House of Commons, but again not a mention of the deprived city that should be his focus.
Never a mention of bringing jobs to the area, never a mention of the deprived state of the city never a mention of or securing funding in any shape of form for Newport.
