WE HAVE had two glorious summers in this country, this year and last. There is so much to explore and yet we tend to forget the possibilities available here.

Imagination captured the mind of the person/s who created the water park in the Cotswolds. It is an ideal attraction for families.

Several facilities have been added within that region, one being a man-made beach where families can relax while their children play in safety. That has to be a bonus for parents and great for children.

Wouldn’t it be nice if similar facilities were constructed around the country, giving more people the availability to have a great day out without having to travel miles to the nearest beach. Kids love playing in the sand and paddling their feet, yet a lot of families cannot afford holidays and this would be a very viable option.

We now have housing estates incorporating purpose built play areas for children to enjoy, near their homes. Maybe now it is time to expand the idea of man-made beaches and turn suitable places into something creative which makes a good alternative to the seaside.
